Aha! Your words about the ramp's being in the morning sun helps me keep my bearings on your house better than I've been doing.

You have built-in snow gauges. How cool is that? Unfortunately, the pristine white doesn't stay that way very long, so snow piles get yucky looking - not a pleasure for you to view.

I know that you are eager to get really started with your gardening.

Our daffodil shoots are about 6-8 inches high, now; although, some are in bloom up the street a few houses. The ones that are blooming are snuggled in amongst rocks & stuff that protect them while ours are standing proudly in the "prairie". The daffodils across the street should be abloom (I need to check.) Come to think of it, I don't pay them much attention, but we have more daffodils at the edge of the woods - surrounding some of the new little trees.
