Cop Car

The nine bark probably thought you had forgotten it and was just following the admonition to "bloom where you are." How could your nine bark not be happy, now that you've pampered it?

Better you should dig two feet down in dry soil than for me to try it. In our clay, it doesn't work out that well.


Doesn't work well with rocks and tree roots either. But, at least the rocks weren't ROCKS :) and none of the tree roots were so big I couldn't use the big loppers on them.

That helps! I've never hit a rock around here; but, tree roots are another thing when working in/near the woods, of course.
