Valentine's Day

Okay, that is just another day for me. But, My parents and sister conspired to make sure I got cards - and they arrived just on time. Can't help but smile when I see them displayed in the living room.

Family members should be good at giving us a lift. Just thinking of you and your sister (and her family, of course) gives your dad and me a lift.

A co-worker asked what we were doing for Valentines, and blinked when I said "sleep!". Really though, my husband works a shift that makes it hard to go out for dinner, and its not worth taking a day off for. Instead, on Sunday I cooked a locally raised turkey and made chocolate brownies instead. Which works just fine for both of us.
