Beautiful work, Bogie! Don't you think that the white row will become stained over time from minerals carried down from the other rows and the soil/decomposing plant matter? That root-beer iris has always been an early bloomer. Pretty! Yesterday, one of our lilac-colored irises (amidst the Blue-Chip Juniper bed at the curb on the far side of the driveway) put out the last blossom of the season for all of our irises.

Smoke in the air gives us beautiful sunrises/sunsets; but, it doesn't do much for our lungs.

Very nice! I suspect that the bottom row will become hidden in short order and you'll not be bothered by it for long.
