Thank you, Sweetheart. I've not yet opened the cards; but, yours & Dudette's both arrived, yesterday. (I should check that Elder Brother is OK since his usually comes the same day as does yours - lol.)
On my way home from the gym, I stopped into the seasonal nursery (in the parking lot of the closed Dillon's at Rock & Madison) to pick up some plants. Not sure I'll get them set out, today, as it is already into the high 70s. Tomatoes, peppers, ice plants.
Your dad is taking me to the local Olive Gardner for an early dinner this afternoon.
P.S. I must have gardening on the mind to input "Gardner" rather than "Garden". Too, I should have told you that I am putting my indoor plants on the front porch, today - a chore usually accomplished on the First of May.
LOL - I didn't even notice the gaff until you pointed it out. Shows what happens when you can anticipate the next word within the context of the sentence.
Thank you for the sweet card, Bogie. Yes, I had a good day, spoiled only by my breaking the large ceramic pot in which one of my plants has resided for a few years. The reason it bothered me is that the pot was gifted to us by Elegant Friend and her family, filled with a schefflera plant, as a housewarming gift in 1968. You wouldn't believe the stupid trick I pulled that led to its fall to the concrete porch floor!
Sorry about the pot - it was obviously worth more sentimentally than $$ wise. I probably would beleive - maybe even done the same thing. I'm very much my mother's daughter in some regards :)

It doesn't get much better than this!
