The shop delivered my bike yesterday afternoon so today I took her out for a shake-down ride. The skies spit on my a little, but no real rain. New gloves that I got over the winter felt good, as did the bike.
Extremely rare selfy. I couldn't even see the phone, so guessed :)
You don't fool me. You just cool your bike, outdoors, to impress passers-by. Otherwise, as energy-conscious as you are, you would let the bike cool off in the garage, contributing heat to your house (and slowing down the rate of cooling of the cylinders).

Except the heat from the bike has dried out that area in the block wall that the block is deteriorating - in exactly the shape of the bike. So, I do let it cool off for at least for a couple of minutes while I get out of all my leathers.
I'm going to have to hire a mason to parge that wall before long.
