Cop Car had posted about the wildfires in Kansas last weekend. Then I saw this on FB; wildfires, blizzard, Tornado, 80* - all at the same time. And New Englanders think they have it rough with the quickly changing weather.

Ah, yes. When I was a wee lass, Grma H listened to WIBW radio - long before they thought of taking up TV. (None of us had yet heard of TV.) Topeka was about 115 miles (wow! nearly exactly 100 nautical miles) from Grandmother's farm, but that was on the AM bands, so not exactly line-of-sight reception.
I continually, throughout childhood, confused WIBW IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, you probably recall) of which Dad was a member.
Back to the weather: New England puts Kansas to shame when it comes to cold, and you get your whip-lash changes, too.
