Interesting interactive map. NH looks good except that category where we come in 37th. Somehow that doesn't seem right to me, but what the heck do I know?

Interesting, but confusingly presented. When someone tells me that NH is 1st in murder, that sounds bad; but, the map shows that they really mean it's the state with the fewest murders per 100k people. Hmmmmm. OTOH, the map shows that one is not apt to get murdered or robbed in KS; but, it's Katy-bar-the-door for everything else.
BTW: They use "forcible rape". Isn't that redundant? Threat of violence and over-powering are forcible in my book.

The rankings are confusing. And I thought the exact same thing about the forcible rape thing.
