Yesterday morning as I was driving to work, I was marveling at the cloud of salt in the air from all the cars on the road. The roads haven't really been dry, so this is the first time I've noticed that phenomena this year.
As I was approaching the Amoskeag Bridge, I thought there must be a building fire nearby, but then I looked again and there was thick white fog coming from the river. According to my thermometer in the Jeep, it was -6 outside, so the river was extremely warm compared to the air temp.
As I drove into the parking lot I noticed all the trees close to the river were ice-encrusted from being immersed in the fog. It was beautiful!
Too bad I didn't have a camera with me!
