It has been hot the last couple of weeks. When it hasn't been hot, it's been humid. A lot of times it is both. The coolest part of the house, the basement, is currently 77 degrees (first thing in the morning after a coolish night), and at 74% humidity.
This translates to my not working out. I usually work out in the evening (after I get home from work), but the house is too hot to do so now. I already get up early enough on work days (3:30 am), so I don't want to get up earlier to try to work out.
That is why I appreciate my 3-day weekends when I get them. I worked out each of the last 3 days in the relative cool of the morning (the workout room is upstairs, where it is about 80 right now). I won't get to work out for another 5 days, then will get 2 workouts in.
This is turning into one of those summers where we could wish we had airconditioning. But, on the other hand, we don't have high electric bills either.
