Warning - lots of pictures ahead. I took pictures of spring on Monday, Friday and yesterday and am placing them in one post. Put on your sunglasses because you are about to enter the Colorfull Zone!
These are the roses I picked up last weekend. They are still in their pots by the front door to add a bit of color and welcome before deciding where to put them.
Fresh mulch makes the flower bed appear so neat!
Anyone know what this is? It appears that the flowers will be yellow, and the plant is only 3-5 inches high (and there are a lot of them),, but I don't seem to recall every having this in the gardens before.
Thanks for the heads up about wearing sunglasses before going below the fold, Bogie. The flowers (and autumn-looking foliage) are beautiful. The bottom one? I would call it a weed and pull it if it appeared in my garden - lol.

The autumn-looking foliage is one of the spirea's new leaves.
The "weeds" are still unidentified, but in full bloom. Maybe I'll figure it out soon and see if I want to leave them be (I do that for other wild flowers that I like).

Oh, yes, there is a definite difference between a weed and a wild flower. ; )
