It was a long week with long days taking care of customer issues and escorting the ISO auditors around. However, once all was said and done, the customers were happy (or at least placated) and the Company will be recommended for recertification.
Time to go back to bed so I can start all over next week with the pile of paperwork on my desk that must be completed by Tuesday (due for a customer audit - other's procrastination has made it my emergency).
Once that is over, then I get to work on the stack of folders on my desk that consist of my regular job.
This work stuff is for the birds (but better than the alternative).
Being unemployed isn't all that much fun, either, unless one is retired. Then, we just get to worry about inflation and stock market plunges!
BTW: One of the gals at the Red Cross takes her dogs to Mary Gupton (last name may be off). Isn't that the woman who taught you dog grooming?

Been unemployed twice (for 5 and 7 months) in the last 7 years. Can't say it was fun, but I certainly got a lot of house and yard maintenance stuff done, and got some college classes out of the way. It's the not getting paid thing that really sucks.
I believe that is the name of the woman who taught me to groom - but my memory of names is so lame that I wouldn't bet on it.
