While barbequeing, day-tripping or whatever you are doing on this Memorial Day, take a moment to think about the men and women who have served to protect you, me and our country.
Last evening was a great TV evening--on PBS. First, I watched 1.5 hours of Memorial Day tribute from Washington DC, then I watched the first installment of the Truman story.
Bod--From some of the fatality figures given for the GB troops during WWI and WWII, one wonders how the isles have managed to have any population at all. The figures were ghastly.
they've earned our thoughts that's for sure.
