Ugh...you gotta do what you gotta do with the priorities! But you'd be surprised with what a vacation, even a mini one, can do!

yeuck! mould, had that to a very large degree in our previous home. not good. here's hoping for a smaller bill than expected.

So sorry to hear that Spring came to your house like a madman. I hope it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Hopefully you don't have to do the whole roof. Good wishes going your way.

Youch! Best of luck on the project. But ya gotta do, what ya gotta do.

Bummer! Not to be Little Mary Sunshine here, but despite the major problems you're facing (and we've had a few of those, too), isn't it much better to own your own home and some land, than it is to live in a cramped apartment where you can't have pets?

I don't envy you the problems you have to deal withm and it's the pits to miss out on vacation. But, in the long run, when you have resolved these issues, you'll have a nice home, and an asset

I hope it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. If it's horribly expensive, consider a home equity loan, or refinancing the house and rolling the cost of the repairs into the loan. It can be done, and I know that you and WS can do it. Good luck!

Let's hope these things don't keep you from enjoying your birthday. Happy Birthday, Bogie!!!

Well drat! I missed the big day! Happy birthday, Bogie! I hope you had fun celebrating being 19 (again!)
