It snowed on Tuesday night. Not a lot, but enough to stick (after having a couple of days warm enough to open all the windows). I had to go to Rhode Island yesterday, and again today, for the gold reclamation. It seems I will be doing the trek every 6 weeks or so.
Anyway, on the trip down there, I hit a band of serious snow in southern Mass. The Rhode Islandites (or Rhode Islanders or whatever) were in serious shock when it started snowing there. They kept telling me, "but, but. but, it was 60 degrees, no lie, 60 degrees a couple of days ago."
Then, on the way back from RI, there was a mix of snow, rain, fog and drizzle the entire way. It made for serious suckage driving the 100 miles back to work. Although the roads were just wet, it was just warm enough that the snow wasn't sticking, the visibility was down to about 40 feet - not much when your wizzing along at 70-75 MPH! At times I would have to slow down to 65 just to let my eyes rest from the strain of trying to see thru the crap (going any slower does nothing but endanger one's life even more).
I'm hoping that the weather is a little more settled for today's trip!
