There's a new comet out there and it is supposed to be visible to the naked eye. Fortunately, it is supposed to visible during the time I drive to work. Since I can see Venus, I should be able to see the comet (Venus is used as a marker in the sky).

About 90 minutes before sunrise.

I've been meaning to look for the comet for the last couple of mornings; but, I've been going to sleep at about 4:00 AM (too early) and not awakening until about 7:00 AM or so (too late). Think that I've only seen 4 comets, Kahoutek, Halley's (the largest, of course!), and 2 who-remembers-names? Do you recall seeing one on Sunrise? I woke you and Dudette early one morning to look out the sliding glass door in the late 1960s or early 1970s. Your dad thought that I was boinkers. With his current interest in astronomy, he probably wouldn't think me so strange.

I haven't seen it yet. It seems I can only see it in the latter part of my drive to work, and then I am getting closer to city lights (and the sky is starting to get lighter)
No I don't remember you waking us up - I probably thought you were boinkers too.

I passed the info on to Dear Husband. He's interested, but we'll have to walk a ways to get the the point were trees or buildings are out of the way. Thanks for the heads-up.
