Wichi Dude, and his lovely wife Dudette, had an Edgar Allen Poe moment with a Raven the other day.
At work Thursday, we had a an Alfred Hitchcock moment with The Birds. There were 4 of us standing outside for our afternoon break (beautiful day too). We were standing in a circle yacking away when a bird came buzzing thru. No, it didn't fly over us, or around us, but thru the circle of humans. I could feel the wind from its wings on my cheek. About a minute later, another bird did the same thing. A couple of minutes later, it was two birds, then one bird, then two birds, then a lone bird.
We finally decided we had had enough (besides, break was over), and went inside. Now why in the world would a bunch of birds decide, with all the heavens overhead (not to mention about 100 feet clearance on one side and 15 feet clearance on the other), to go thru a group of people?
