Want to know why I don't have children? Because I would be in jail on Murder 1 charges if any of my kids ever even thought about doing this!

What a PERFECT ad!
I have to agree with you. If that had been my kid, he would have been hustled out of the store and home in no time flat. I've been talking with my mother about the past and neither of us remember kids screaming like that in the store. I can think of three reasons for behavior like this: poor scheduling for grocery store visits (like, NAP TIME), a lack of consistent attention to the kids, and permissive parenting.
Occasionally I regret not having kids of my own, but then I see something like this, and have to agree with you.
