So I didn't get the onions and leeks planted in the garden. It rained all day (same expected today), and I'm not convinced it actually reached 40 degrees (39 at 5 PM and AM, when I took care of horses).
So I did what any sensible person will do in that situation, I planted more seeds inside. I planted 12 cells of Hostas, 8 cells of Roman Chamomile, 6 cells of Fairy Skullcap, 12 cells of Rock Soapwort, 6 cells of Marmalade Rubekia (black-eyed Susans), and 4 cells of some nameless vines that produce red and orange flowers (from seed collected from a pet-sitting client).
I also moved the onions from under the grow lights to the table on the deck. And, the leeks have joined the onions, being moved from the cold frame. I also uncovered the cold frame so that Mother Nature could water the tomatoes (hoping that a shot of cold air would help slow them down).
I managed to get absolutely nothing done that was actually on my list of stuff to accomplish this weekend. I guess today will be a busy day!
I'm always so jealous of people who can actually grow things. Plants cower in fear when I approach...and for good reason, too.

You just have to find the right plants. I can kill any cactus just by walking by it. African Violets hate me too. But for some reason I can grow some plants that are termed "difficult" without even trying.
