Thank you, Sweetheart. It should be an exciting day. The yard needs mowing and there is a nursing home to be toured this afternoon. Elegant Friend is taking me to dinner. (Hunky Husband is still in NY, slaving away, helping folks who were impacted by the flooding.)
Sixty-seven years ago, at 1:00 AM, all 8 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches of me made grande entrance into the world--in a hospital elevator. Mom always said that I saved her and Dad the cost of a delivery room charge. Elder Brother still hasn't forgiven me for taking away his "only child" status--LOL!
You were longer (20.5 inches) and skinnier (8 pounds 2 ounces) at birth, than was I--and you still are!
Bogie--Mowing and running the vacuum. (How can it get any better than that?) Without HH here to take care of his chores, I have to double up. It was a good day.
Buffy--Just send the wool and keep the sheep. Feeding two cats (another HH job) is more than I can keep up with. Just imagine my trying to tend a couple of ewes. Thanks for the wishes.
