It was colder than usual at work Thursday morning (my area is always on the cold side anyway). At first they thought the heating system was on the fritz because only parts of the building were warm, while others received only minimal heat. Turns out we were low on propane. After an emergency delivery (about 3 hours after us early birds got in), it started warming up. I hope someone keeps a closer eye on the tank level thru the rest of this cold blast!
Since your work area is on an outside wall, it seems to me that the least they can do is to install a wood stove for you. Each morning you leave for work carrying your briefcase, sack lunch, and sling full of wood. I can see the picture!

Oh yeah, that paints a pretty picture. But if they are going to do that for me, they should also supply the wood so I don't have use up my precious stock!

You and Margaret Whiting! She's the one who, in the 1940s sang the song that asked, "Why wish for a loaf of bread when you can wish for a grocery store?"
