Random Thoughts

We're supposed to start getting freezing rain sometime early this morning - should make the drive home fun!

* * * * I should have left the dogs in the pen when I got home this morning instead of bringing them in to spare the neighbors having to hear Prince's incesant whining. Missy tried to wake me up to go out, but I told her to go lay down. Later, she tried again, and I finally got up and let her out. When I got up this afternoon, I found out why she wanted out so badly; she had the runs - all over the carpet in the den. Good thing I have a steam cleaner! * * * * Got to watch the second half of the first half of Babylon 5 Battlestar Gallactica Wednesday night (watched the first 45 minutes on Tuesday). Even though I've heard some negative stuff from purists (those who clearly remember the first series), I'm enthralled. It should only take another 2 nights to watch the last 2 hours of the mini-series. * * * * This week's Carnival of the Vanities is over at Signal + Noise and is based on a lower life form; insects. Even if you don't have time to read any of the entries right now, go check out the illustrations! * * * * NZ finally figured out that I certainly didn't belong in the "Large Mammals" catagory of his Ecosystem and found a way to correct it. I'm actually surprised that I'm still up there a bit in "Slithering Reptile" land.

I liked the 2nd ep of Battlestar Galactica! I missed the first one...but, I know I'll watch it when it comes on again.

Now, go bundle up and stay warm!

No need to bundle up - it's in the high 20's/low 30's. It's a lot warmer than it has been in a while (the other morning it was 3 degrees, plus a good wind). Heck, I didn't even wear long underwear tonight!
