It's been 18 years since WS and I were married. We've moved from minimum wage jobs to making a comfortable living. We've moved from roach and mouse infested apartments to building our own home. We've moved from the heart of a city out into the boonies, 1,600 miles away from where we started from.
What has never changed is the love we have for each other. Yes, we've had our fights and times that we just didn't understand each other. There have been times we haven't liked each other very much. But we have persevered and come out of the trials and tribulations with more love and understanding than we had before.
Pretty good for people who in their early twenties, swore that they would never get married hu?
Yep. Pretty good. You and WS have made a better-than-average marriage--that's for sure. We who know and love you can only be happy for you (plural). May you live long and happy lives--together! Lots of love to you!

If you can make it 18 years, you'll make it another 18. :)
My folks have been married 33 years, been through Hell and back and are like two teenagers - they can't keep their hands off each other. Eeewww Gross! :p

Seeing as Sis hit you up first, I was just going to let it go. But I can't. 18 years, WOW! Do I feel old now. Couldn't think of a nicer couple to have enjoyed that much fun. Lets go fo a "double" and see if it can't get better.

...but don't relax, don't sit back and congratulate yourselves too much :^)...marriage still needs to be worked at - I find a good crisis always brings you closer...so stop living this idylic life or love and roses - go look for a crisis :^)...hmmm, I think I'm in one of those moods today :^(....congratulations from a fellow 'lifer' :^)...(remember, marriage ain't a word - it's a sentence) :^)....
