It's Been A While

It's been 18 years since WS and I were married. We've moved from minimum wage jobs to making a comfortable living. We've moved from roach and mouse infested apartments to building our own home. We've moved from the heart of a city out into the boonies, 1,600 miles away from where we started from.

I've just messed up a bunch of people that still held shares in my old blog; I deleted it. There are no links coming in or going out because it no longer exists. The next time Blogshare's crawlers go thru, the stock price should plummet from roughly $69/share, to $0, or there abouts. By the way Dave if you're still playing, you might want to offload those 500 (or 50, I've forgotten) shares you own. They won't be worth beans (or deemed "stable") for much longer!

Just in Time

I've gotten the irises dug up, ready to divide into 3 flowerbeds (up from the 2 that are currently in use for irises). I will have to get them in the ground this weekend, as there is a decided fall nip in the air.

The last couple of mornings have been in the high 40's and low 50's. Although night time temps will probably rise again, it won't last for long. Early September is certainly the latest that one wants to plant anything around here. And at that, bulbs and rhizomes are really the only things that I want to plant this late.
