I took a couple of pictures of the fence last night, so lets get to it:
Here is the dent that Missy made before the fence was even completely installed.
.
The fence guy dropped of the parts needed to fix the dent on Wednesday, so the dent will soon be gone.
Then there are the lilies behind the fence as well as the bushes that I planted the other day in front of the fence. The bush on the left is a rhododendron, the barberry is in the middle and the cotoneaster is on the right. There is another rhododendron, out of the picture, further to the left. Also the tree in the very left (in back of the fence) is an almond tree that I planted 10-12 years ago. I've never gotten an almond because the birds and squirrels keep taking off with the fruit. That's okay, it keeps them away from the peaches
Last is a picture taken from the street in which you can see the lower section of railroad ties (which despite how it looks, is 3 ties deep), lilies, and the retaining wall which was added on to in order to raise the top layer by a couple of feet.
Actually the rock wall looks a lot better than the picture seems to suggest. I have planted flowers in a lot of the nooks and cranies. Eventually I will plant some sort of plant along the top that will drape down the part of the wall that is at the very right in the picture. The fencing that can be seen way in the background (above where the rock wall and railroad ties meet), is the back side of the dog pen where the dogs stay during the day (you can't see the back side of the new fencing because of the angle). If you look just to the left of where the shovel is leaning, and in the background, that is the gate to the dog pen.
That is today's tour folks (and yes Cop Car, I forgot to take a picture of the stepping stone - I will get one posted at some point in time).
