"Sending federal tax dollars to New Hampshire to fight gun crime is like sending money to Florida to combat frostbite."
The Union Leader has a story about how New Hampshire is recieving Federal money to combat "gun crimes". This for a state that had only 36 homicides in 2001 and 2000 (yes this means over two years. Out of the 36 homicides, less than 31% involved guns - the exact same amount as involved sharp objects (i.e. knives and knife-like objects). Somehow, this doesn't seem to be a wise use of our tax dollars!
