Both the Wonderfull Spouse and I are working overtime this week - both of us putting in 10 hour days for a while (mine is only for a couple of days though). I'm currently taking care of 3 cats, and starting tomorrow will start taking Sam out for his morning walks.
Thursday morning will be a killer, as I'll have to get up at 2:30 instead of 3:30. That is because I will be taking care of the two golden retrievers Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Sunny and Winnie's human called me last night to set it up. I told her that Wednesday night (1 visit at 5 pM and one visit at 9 PM) wouldn't be a problem, but Thursday morning I would have to let them out really early (about 4 am). Getting there at 4 AM will allow me plenty of time to let them out, feed them and give them some loving, while still leaving me time to get to Sam's at 5 (and to work about 6ish). She said if I was willing to do that, then that was fine by her. I'll still be taking care of the goldens in a couple of weekends too.
Pet-sitting seems to be that way; way too busy or nothing at all!
Update Just got my messages (I call my home answering machine from work), and I will be taking care of Winnie and Sunny tonight through Thursday morning, which means i have to get up at 2:30 AM for 2 mornings - woohoo!
