Remember the cool picture that I put up of my Brother-in Law's new truck (if not, go take a look, I'll wait). Well, I finally got an email from him which explains all:
You posted on your blog that I needed to "spill" on the truck. OK, here it is, (sorry it's so late, I don't get out too often), it has a 3.0 L V6, power locks and windows w/remote entry, A/C, 5spd manual, 6 CD in-dash stereo, P/S, ABS,100,000 mile organic antifreeze, 4.10 rear end (would have liked a lower rear end but they didn't have it in Posi-trac), Dual air bags, custom alum wheels. As you can tell by the pictures, it's red and sits high. Mileage is rated at 19 city and 24 hwy. but I can't tell yet, even the manuals say you can't track mileage until after the first 1 to 3,000 miles, something about break in and letting the computer fine tune to the drivers habits (in which case the truck may reach its life time before figuring me out).Still sure you want to post all that? It's yours to the posting. Though someone may think it's an add to sell and you might get flooded with offers, (if any are REALLY good, give me a call).[Send me an email, or post in the comments if you have a really, really good offer - bogie]
I have to assume that the truck is a 2004, since he still doesn't have 3,000 miles on it yet (either that, or it's older and he bought it from a little old lady that really did only drive it church on Sundays). I'm jealous of the 6 CD stereo, and what the heck is "organic antifreeze"? Is it made from the fish that live below the arctic ice and produce anti-freeze in their blood? Never mind, in looking for a link to a scientific article on "fish, blood, anti-freeze", I found THIS, and answered my own question - cool!
