If They Run Out, They Can Have Some of Ours

Syracus, NY school students have sent ants into space as an experiment and to test the hypothesis that the ants would tunnel more slowly in space. Instead the found that they seem to tunnel more quickly (that would have been my guess - less gravity to slow them down, and aren't ants just hyper anyway?). If they decide to do this experiment again, I've got about 2 trillion ants in the yard - with anthills everywhere you look or step (yes, even in the main pathways) - which we would be happy to donate in the name of science.
