I'm working a modified 2nd

I'm working a modified 2nd shift today (noon - 8) so I took the opportunity this morning to make out invoices for my pet-sitting clients as well as sending out non-availability notices to same for the week of Christmas.

I just love being able to get my plane tickets and rental cars online! No more driving forever to get to a travel agent - or spending an hour waiting for them to find me the perfect flight times. I can do it myself and check different airlines (instead of the travel agent selling me his/her favorite one). Although there are several travel sites, I find my best deals either at Expedia or Southwest. Hotwire didn't get me any cheaper fare (despite their advertising) and I certainly want to pick my own times. It was actually pretty funny when I checked Hotwire, as they have a link to their partner Orbitz. Amazingly enough, Orbitz had cheaper fares (than Hotwire) and you get to see the scheduled times. When it was all said and done though, I went with Expedia as it was cheaper and had a better selection of take-off times.

Work is kind of a

Work is kind of a blah thing today. The machine is not running (won't until Friday) and I don't feel like testing product. I got all my paperwork and computer stuff done so I am just kind of drifting the rest of the day. Fortunately, when you work for a small company, and there isn't much to do, no one really hassles you. AD and AR are both pretty laid back so they haven't given me any flack (of course I turn a blind eye when they are in the same type of mood).

Note to self: I really have to dust off my HTML books so I can add dimension to this thing!

List of things to do:
1. Find a way to add a comments section (not that it's likely that anyone will be reading this - much less care to comment)
2. Add an email link (after I dust off my HTML books)
3. Get dog food (probably ought to be at the TOP of the list!

1) If you're actually reading this blog, then don't email me accusing ME of having no life (or telling me to get a life). Your life obviously sucks worse than mine if you have to live vicariously through my blog.

2) I don't really care if you disagree with me, the world would be boring if we all thought the same way. However, with that said, I refuse to get into arguments because you are trying to get me to see your side. Just email me once (if you must) and forget it!
