Musical Bikes
For Cop Car - Music of all 3 Harleys. Okay, it is hard to tell the difference if you don't know what to listen for. It starts off with mine and WS's running and BIL's joins in. Then they are turned off one at a time; mine, then WS's, then BIL's last. It will take Real Player to play the audio, and you will have to download the file (which happens when you click on the link) - sorry, that is what my phone records in.

Had you asked, I would have said that I had Real Player installed. I would have been wrong. It was a fast download and install, though. (Gave me a chance to get my mug of caffeine.)

Wish our neighbor's bike sounded like one of yours. He (lives just around the bend from us) must have been working on his engine last night. He roared by here at Midnight, at 1:45am - 2:30am (several times), at 3:15am (a couple of times), at 4:45am...well, you get the picture. This is the neighbor who (along with a neighbor or two across the street from him) keeps me awake much of the night, each night, for about 10 days centered on the 4th of July, each year. Talking to him (gently, considering it was in the wee hours of the morning) about having consideration for his neighbors is like talking to a stone wall.

If the "gentle" talking to doesn't work, call the cops. I'm sure there is a noise ordinance. It's one thing if it's only every once in a while. It's a whole nother thing if it's 7-10 days.
I do try to lug the engine going up the hill in the morning. It keeps the sound down to a dull roar so I don't disturb the neighbors at 5:30 in the morning leaving for work. Also helpful, most neighbors are set back from the road, and there is lots of vegetation to help muffle the sound.

There are thoughtful neighbors and neighbors who are not so much. This, on the whole, is a much noisier neighborhood than was Sunrise - a complete shock to me. Maybe as I get a bit older, I'll lose my hearing and won't care - lol!
