Horse Power
Guess this gives a whole new meaning when someone asks how much horsepower his bike has!
Don't know where this originated from, but someone posted it to the HDForum.

On the way home last night, with traffic choked, anyway (so many road closures due to the tornado damage), four choppers surrounded me - forcing me to slow down even more. I felt like telling them that they failed to intimidate me since I have two badder looking sons in law who have been known to wear leathers!

Bike makers tend to set the speedometer to read high, and bikers tend to forget that, so hopefully they were just thinking they were just doing the speed limit (and they were blinded by your beauty, so had to surround you for a better look). I don't know many bikers that intentionally try to intimidate drivers of 4 wheel vehicles. Not that it doesn't happen, just the car can do a whole lot of damage without even trying.
The Suzi's speedo was consistantly 7% under the speed limit and it seems the HD is about 5%. From the forums I have / now frequent, this is a common theme for speedos.
Now if the bikers were part of a large group (poker run, charity run etc) I "understand" it more as they are all trying to keep together. I've been in a group that did that one time - didn't like it, and won't be making that mistake again. I'll stick to runs that have police escorts so we can legally run the lights and vehicles are kept from cutting in.

Truly, I figured the choppers were heading for a shop just a bit up the road from where we were. I just thought they went about it a bit strangely. I don't know why they would give an old woman a hard time - at least, not intentionally, as they don't get points for us old people - lol!
