Linkage

Since I, once again, have nothing stunning to write about, I will highlight some other author's stuff:

Buffy says it well in her Advise Column!

Julianne has the best and worst of after Holiday mall shoppers.

Broad at Bat tries on her old Wedding Dress.

DaGoddess had a problem with her cable company. Their reply was unexpected!

Dave has posted an Advertising Policy.

Joe explains how a bet on a horse to "show" (take 3rd place) can actually reap you more money than if you bet on the horse to Win or Place (take 2nd).

Hopefully I'll have something of my own to write tomorrow!

Speaking of Horses: I finally started reading "Seabiscuit" the other day and couldn't put it down. What a thriller! Much more attention holding than the couple of Tom Clancy books that HH "let" me read over the holidays. So, you gotta be right, Bogie. The book is much better for someone who knows nothing about horses than for an expert (who would rather have the book concentrate ONLY on the horses!) First books that I've had a chance to read in a while. That "fix" should hold me for a while.

Actually I think the book is better for people that are more focused on people. Whereas I am more focused on animals, the book didn't do much for me (not that it was bad, just not as good as the original Come On Seabiscuit).
