Yesterday we had a record-breaking
Yesterday we had a record-breaking high temp at 70 degrees (yes the 8" of snow finally melted). It rained on and off during the day, but it was still a nice day.
There was absolutely nothing on TV last night (prior to football) so we dug out a "Babylon 5" tape and watched that instead. We both love Bab5 and wish it was still running. We like it so much I ordered the whole series on tape (as far as I know it's not on DVD yet). We had been taping it, but missed a lot of shows because hockey games would preempt it. Besides, with the series on tape, there are no commercials and it is encoded for using surround sound (which we couldn't get off the network).
We watched Monsters, Inc. the other night. Neither of us had seen it before and it was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. We also watched Balto - another good movie. Isn't it strange how a childless couple like us love a lot of the movies made for kids? Maybe that means we really do have two kids - us!
